As a follow-up to last year's V.1, we present to you the Babylonian Button Up V.2. This garment is dedicated to my Arab culture. My ancestry comes from ancient Babylonia or present-day Baghdad, Iraq. It is where the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers meet. In ancient Babylon, the paisley pattern resembled an uncurled date palm, a flowering plant species in the palm family. The plant was a source of life's necessities and produced food, wine, paper, and shelter. Ancient Babylonians viewed the date as a symbol of prosperity, and thus the paisley pattern sprung into life.
The latest shirt is noticeably softer, smoother, and more breathable than last summer's V.1. Its texture has a touch of fuzziness, promising comfort and coziness throughout the summer. What's more, the buttons are dyed to perfectly complement the garment. I trust you'll enjoy this version just as much as last year's! The fit is boxy cropped. We recommend you going with you going with your regular size.
